Yes, at binimarmenorca.com all rental boats (without skipper) require a licence.
In the file of each boat you can find out which is the mandatory qualification to be able to rent that boat.
You do not need to create an account.
When you make a booking we will automatically open a Client Area to which you will have access without having to register or login.
It is a protected and unique link. You will find the access button in the booking confirmation email.
The only form of payment accepted on binimarmenorca.com is by credit card.
Binimarmenorca.com uses a secure payment system with SSL standards, the most secure and widely used encryption protocol in use today. You can pay by credit card, MasterCard and VISA. AMEX is not accepted. The VISA and MASTERCARD networks have developed the 3D SECURE standard that offers you protection during your online purchases to avoid possible fraud.
Therefore, when you make a payment in an online shop displaying the ‘Verified by Visa’ and ‘Mastercard Securecode’ logos, you can confidently insert the data displayed on your card as usual. You will then land on the bank's page where you will be asked to identify yourself to validate the transaction.
Your bank will then verify whether you are the legitimate cardholder. Depending on this, you will be asked to enter an answer to validate your identity (date of birth, maiden name or an authentication code received by SMS or via the app).
If your booking allows or requires payment in two instalments, you will receive an email reminding you to pay the balance. This ensures that the final supplier receives the funds they need to make all the necessary arrangements. The deadline for the second payment depends on the payment terms of the final supplier and may vary.
Please note that if we have not received the payment on time, our system will automatically cancel the booking and the final supplier will be entitled to retain the deposit in accordance with the cancellation policy. If you have any problems or difficulties during the payment process, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@binimar.com.
When the dates of service are requested, the rate shown is the price according to the schedule set by the final provider.
This rate always includes VAT.
Depending on the choice of each final supplier, the price may or may not include petrol, skipper, mooring, cleaning etc.
Depending on the choice of each final supplier, the extras may be paid directly on the website or on the spot, whether they are compulsory or optional (donut, SUP board, skipper...).
In each boat file you can find out what is included in the price.
According to the choice of the final supplier.
In the file of each boat it is indicated whether it is included or not.
The best way to do this is to search from our search bar, setting specific parameters such as destination, dates, type of boat and any other criteria you consider relevant. After reviewing the search results, go to the boat details of the boats you are interested in to see more details, photos and booking/cancellation conditions.
First choose the date in the calendar within the selected ship's file.
There may be the possibility to choose the departure time and/or the duration of the service in the calendar.
Enter the number of persons if required.
Click on the green button ‘Book now’.
Fill in all the details on the booking form.
Read and accept the terms and conditions of the contract and read and accept the privacy policy.
Click the green ‘book now’ button.
Follow the instructions for payment by credit card.
A small part of our services do not accept online bookings.
In this case you must click on the orange button ‘Request booking’ and fill in the request form.
You will receive a reply to your email as soon as possible.
A ‘skippered’ booking means that the boat owner or a professional skipper will accompany you on your trip.
A ‘bareboat’ booking means that you are renting the boat. Therefore, you must hold the corresponding licence to be able to crew the boat. Please note that you will then be responsible for the boat for the entire duration of the charter.
When the owner offers the possibility to rent his boat ‘with or without skipper’, both options are possible. It depends on your choice (family outing, preparation for a regatta, celebration of an event, sailing weekend, etc.), the possession of a sailing licence and your general sailing experience.
Of course, you can share our platform with as many people as possible. You can book a boat for a friend or family member.
The important thing is that the name on the contract and on the booking is the name of the person who has the sailing licence (or the person in charge in the case of a skippered charter).
If the booking was made under another name, you can contact us through your Client Area, indicating the details that must appear on the contract, so that we can make the change.
If you need help to find the right boat, you can request a quote by sending an email to info@binimar.com and it will be processed by our sales team.
Please indicate in the request location / type of boat / dates / number of people / budget and any other additional information.
The rental contract must be signed by the hirer and the final supplier on the day of rental, during check-in and handover of the boat.
It can be completed and signed on paper if you or the final supplier of the vessel print it out in advance.
Alternatively, in some cases, the contract can be signed and completed online via our website, in your Client Area.
On the day of booking you must bring with you the following documents to be verified by the final supplier of the boat:
Original identity document: ID or passport
Your original skipper's licence (photocopies or duplicates of this document will not be accepted by the final boat provider).
You can contact us at info@binimar.com and we will provide you with direct contact with the final provider.
The final provider will always contact you one or two days before the booked service to confirm times and meeting point.
All suppliers present on the binimarmenorca.com platform, both private and professional, must offer boats that are covered by up-to-date insurance and that are related to their charter and/or co-sailing activity(ies).
In the event that the boat is rented ‘without skipper’, the owner must contract an additional ‘private boat rental’ option.
